The Center for Space and Habitability (CSH) at the University of Bern fosters interdisciplinary research across Earth and planetary sciences, the search for life in the Universe, philosophy of science, and biomedical research. By connecting research groups across institutes and faculties, the CSH encourages curiosity-driven research and the cross-fertilisation of ideas. The center is a key partner of the NCCR PlanetS and contributes to international space missions such as CHEOPS, the first Swiss-led satellite.

Center of Space and Aviation Switzerland and Liechtenstein (CSA)
The Center of Space and Aviation Switzerland and Liechtenstein (CSA) is a partner of the University of Zurich, including UZH Space and the UZH Space Hub. The CSA is a non-profit federal foundation that brings together leading institutions from Switzerland and Liechtenstein to combine their space and aviation expertise, resources, and infrastructure. Through this unified approach, the CSA aims to advance the New Space Economy and create added value for research, education, and industry while strengthening international collaboration.
