Launch your Space Career: Meet ESA and Swiss Space Companies
UZH Space, in collaboration with Space Exchange Switzerland, recently hosted the event “Launch Your Space Career: Meet ESA & Swiss Space Companies”, bringing together students and early-career professionals with representatives from ESA and Swiss space ecosystem. Participants gained valuable insights into career pathways ranging from ESA programmes to opportunities in industry, complemented by career talks, Q&A sessions, and direct networking opportunities.
How to assess the success of a space career event in situ and quantitatively?
One strong indicator is when 210+ attendees remain seated, almost glued to their chairs, for two hours straight, actively engaging with a diverse lineup of high-quality speakers from academia and Swiss space companies, providing valuable insights into personal and professional development, career paths, and job opportunities for an interdisciplinary audience across faculties and career stages, and then stay afterward for engaging conversations and networking during an apéro.
