Research Areas

The University of Zurich is home to a large number of researchers working on topics related to space. Their works spans a wide range of academic disciplines, from the natural sciences to theology, and is concerned with understanding space (e.g.,astrophysics), using space to help us better understand Earth (e.g.,Earth observation), how to explore space (e.g., robotics), how to survive in space (space life sciences), and what relationship and responsibilties we have to space (ethics, sustainability, and theology).
