Celestial Spectacle: Solar Eclipse

On 12 August, visitors had the opportunity to experience the partial solar eclipse up close through two solar telescopes provided by UZH’s Institute for Astrophysics. The telescopes offered a safe and fascinating view of the celestial event and attracted plenty of curious observers.

Missed the opportunity? Join us at the UZH Space booth at Scientifica on Sunday, 23 August. Weather permitting, the solar telescopes will be set up again for visitors to explore the Sun — although there won’t be an eclipse this time!
