New chapter for Aesthetics of Wonder
UZH Space, in collaboration with the Faculty of Arts, is pleased to announce a new chapter for Aesthetics of Wonder.
Following the latest exhibition, the large-scale images were unfortunately damaged during transport, making them unsuitable for future exposition across Switzerland. The attached photos show the exhibition in front of the UZH main building and two details of the visible damage.
A new collection is currently in production to carry the exhibition forward. At the same time, we are delighted to have found an opportunity for the old images and to continue their story in a different form: the Faculty of Arts will integrate twelve of the images into a student project, inviting emerging/student artists to engage with, reinterpret, and transform them.
Selected from the outset with a focus on their abstract shapes, the images now complete a full circle — shifting from exhibition pieces to material for artistic exploration. We look forward to seeing how students will re-mote these works into new creative dimensions.
